The Transmittals log window lists all transmittals created to date. From this window, you can look at details of a transmittal, add a new transmittal, or generate a transmittal. You can also print a report or a form.
Click this button to add a new transmittal to the log.
Click this button to print the default transmittal report.
Click this button to display the default log report on screen the way it will look when it is printed.
You can select an action to perform from the Select an action drop-down list.
Click the icon to send the current log layout to an Excel spreadsheet. This functionality is not available when using the Firefox Internet browser.
Use this drop-down list to select a different layout for the log window. Just select a layout to apply the new layout. For more information on layouts, see Layouts Overview.
Click this link to display the items in the Transmittals list. From there you can select the create or remove functions you want to perform on a transmittal.
Click the icon in the left column to open the Transmittal document window in Edit mode.
Click the Find link to find a particular word or text in all documents in the Transmittals log window.
Click to return to the Workspace.
The date the transmittal was created. Click to open the Transmittal document window in View mode.
A unique number identifying the transmittal. Contract Management assigns the next sequential number to the new transmittal; however you can edit this number in the document window.
The company receiving the transmittal document.
The company that sent the transmittal document.
The name of person the transmittal is addressed to.
The contract associated with the transmittal.
The priority level for this transmittal, which will appear in the BIC’s Action List.
Each custom field assigned to the transmittals table is shown with applicable values. Custom fields enable you to define additional information about a project; define them outside the project by right-clicking on the top-level folder and choosing Custom Fields.
This drop-down list appears at the right of each Transmittal document listed in the log. Click the arrow to open a drop-down list containing actions you can perform, including generating a transmittal, viewing, editing, or printing the selected document, or sending the document to a user's Inbox.
From the Contract Management Control Center, expand the appropriate project, choose Communication, and then choose Transmittals.
