The Project View contains a hierarchy of your projects. Use it to access your project’s logs and documents. For example, if you need to create or review a submittal, go to the Logs folder and click Submittals to open its log window.
Open a folder by double-clicking it. Close a folder by double-clicking it again.
Select a module, such as Submittals, by clicking its name or the icon to the left of it. After you open a module, the log window (which contains a list of documents) for that module is displayed.
You can customize the names and orders of folders and modules.
When the top-level folder is selected (for example, All Projects), all projects are closed, and information in the Workspace is summarized for all projects.
When you select a project, there are four folders under that project:
The Project Information folder will contain the documents you create for companies, add issues, and schedule the project.
The Communications folder will contain documents for communication project information:
Transmittals
RFIs
Notices and Non-Compliance Notices
Letters
Correspondence Sent and Correspondence Received
Meeting Minutes
Notepads
Telephone Records
Safety
The Contract Information folder will contain contract documents for the project, including:
Cost Worksheets
Contracts &endash; Budgeted, Committed, and Funding
Purchase Orders
Trends
Payment Requisitions
Change Management
Proposals
Change Orders
Procurement
The Logs folder will contain document information about the following:
Drawings and Drawing Sets
Submittals and Submittal Packages
Materials
Daily Reports
Insurance
Punch Lists
The Templates folder will contain all the templates that you created for your projects.
