Some Contract Management modules will send e-mail notifications to appropriate contacts of pending action items for which they are responsible. These action items will then appear in the user's Action object on the Contract Management workspace. In order for a function to send the e-mail notification, the Contact's e-mail address must be entered when the contact is created for a company.
For information on setting up the e-mail address for a contact, see Add Companies and Contacts. If the e-mail address was not entered on the Contact dialog box when the contact was added to the company, the contact will not receive any e-mail notifications. Edit the contact information and enter the e-mail address to ensure that the contact will receive e-mail notifications.
